Day 1: Arrival at the Udaipur Airport
On arriving at Udaipur Airport,, our representative will meet you. Take you to your hotel. After checking in and maybe resting for a bit, you can go out. Start seeing the city. The first place we have planned for you to visit is Udaipur City Palace. The City Palace in Udaipur is very famous. Covers a lot of area. It has eleven palaces built in the medieval style. The construction of City Palace, which belongs to the Rajput rulers, started when Maharana Udai Singh II was in power. The City Palace has domes, towers, and arches, making it a wonderful place that many tourists visit. There are local shops just outside the City Palace where you can shop and get a feel of the city. After shopping you can go back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Sightseeing in Udaipur
After you have a meal in the morning, you will be ready to start your Udaipur city tour again. You can go to the Fateh Sagar Lake first if that is what you want. The Fateh Sagar Lake is a big lake, and it looks very beautiful when you see it. It is even more beautiful when you are on the lake. So if you want to do something you can get on a boat and sail on the Fateh Sagar Lake. We think you will really like it. After you have fun sailing on Fateh Sagar Lake, you can go on a ride on the Mansapurana Karni Mata Ropeway. The Mansapurana Karni Mata Ropeway will take you high up in the air. You can see the whole city from up there. You can see Lake Pichola and the City Palace and even the Aravali Mountains from the Mansapurana Karni Mata Ropeway. Next you can go to Lake Pichola. Lake Pichola is a beautiful lake, and it is surrounded by big hills and beautiful palaces and temples. You can sail on Lake Pichola. Watch the sunset and see the beautiful views. If you have time, you can also visit the Lake Palace, whichs on an island in Lake Pichola. The Lake Palace is a famous tourist spot in Udaipur city, and it has been shown in many movies. After a day in Udaipur city, you can go back to your hotel and rest. You can think about all the things you did in Udaipur city, like visiting Fateh Sagar Lake and sailing on Lake Pichola and riding on the Mansapurana Karni Mata Ropeway.
Day 3: Travel from Udaipur to Jodhpur (250.6 kms. / 4 hrs. 30 minutes)
Get ready for a road trip from Udaipur to Jodhpur after you have your breakfast at your hotel. The road trip from Udaipur to Jodhpur is 250.6 kilometers, and it will take you around 4 hours and 30 minutes to get to Jodhpur. When you get to Jodhpur and check in at your hotel, you can go out. Explore Jodhpur. The first place you will visit in Jodhpur is the Kaylana Lake. Kaylana Lake is a place for a picnic. You can see the sunset at Kaylana Lake. It is very beautiful. The sky looks like a painting with colors at sunset time. Kaylana Lake is the place to relax and have a picnic. If you like birds, you will like Kaylana Lake more. Next, you will visit the Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur. You have to go through seven gates to get to the Mehrangarh Fort. The gates of the Mehrangarh Fort still have marks from battles. The second gate of the Mehrangarh Fort still has marks from canon balls that hit it during a war with Jaipur. Now that you have seen some places in Jodhpur, it is time to go back to your hotel and rest. You have had a day in Jodhpur with the road trip from Udaipur to Jodhpur and visiting Kaylana Lake and the Mehrangarh Fort.
Day 4: Travel from Jodhpur to Jaisalmer (284.1 kms. / 4 hrs. 33 minutes)
You will have your breakfast at the hotel, and then it is time to get back on the road and travel to Jaisalmer. The travel to Jaisalmer will take around 4 hours and 33 minutes. You will cover a distance of 284.1 kilometers. When you arrive in Jaisalmer, the first place you will visit after checking into your hotel is the Jaisalmer Fort. The Jaisalmer Fort is really something to see with its architecture and strong walls that are protected by double fortification walls and circular bastions. These are parts of the fort that were used for defense and battle. You will also see monuments all around the Jaisalmer Fort that are very interesting. The Jaisalmer Fort is made of sandstones. It is also called Sonar Quila, which means it is a big structure in the middle of the sand. Next you will go to the Badal Palace, which is also known as the Tazia Tower. The Tazia Tower is a popular place for tourists to visit in Jaisalmer. It is located in the Badal Palace complex near the Amar Sagar Gate. The Badal Palace used to be the home of the family. Now part of the palace has been turned into a heritage hotel called Mandir Palace. Another part is called Badal Vilas, which is where the family of the old rulers lives. If you have time, you should try some activities like quad biking, dune bashing, and parasailing in the Thar Desert. At night you will go back to your hotel to stay overnight. You will have a chance to rest after a day of traveling and visiting places in Jaisalmer. The Jaisalmer Fort and the Tazia Tower are two of the places you will visit in Jaisalmer.
Day 5: Departure from Jaisalmer
